Clear silicone gel, composed of a water-in-oil micellar emulsion that helps the regular healing of wounds. The micelles micro-size allow an exceptional penetration of substances through the skin. (Patented formulation water in Silicone)

It's effective not only in the prevention of hypertrophic scars but also in reducing the existing hypertrophic scar and keloids; it also helps reducing itching and erythema syntomps associated with the cicatrizaton process and performs a complete action by increasing skin tone and elasticity favouring the riepitelization process.

Application

Apply a small quantity twice a day on the area after stitches removal, on healed wound (usually 2/3 weeks after surgery. The treatment should hold over at least one month to prevent hypertrophic scar and keloid formation, maintained for 2 months in the treatment of hypertrophic scar and for 4 months in case of keloid.

Ingredients

  • Silicones mix: Silicone based organic polymers. They spread as an ultra thin sheet on skin, modulating the expression of fibroblast growth and collagen production, it softens, flattens and smooths scars to avoid hypertrophic scars and keloids. 

  • Aloe vera: provides polysaccharides derived from the mucilage layer of the plant and are known for their moisturizing properties. They stimulates the immunological defenses and modulate the synthesis of collagen and elastin. Useful in the wound-healing, they help keeping the wound moist, increasing epidermal firmness.

  • Flavonoid Echinacoside: a natural phenol derived from Echinacea Angustifolia, it inhibits the release of prostaglandins E2, from keratinocytes, with the consequent blockage of the oxidation cascade and inhibition of the stimulation of inflammatory process fostering the tissue repairing process.

  • Elastocell: combination of sulfurated amino acid derivatives obtain by biofermentation, it increases cellular turnover and has a defensive action against oxidative stress. Its antioxidant property allows it to inhibit melanin synthesis. Moreover, it moisturizes and increases elasticity.
